Installation Guide for Admins

This installation guide for SFDC admins and ops/enablement teams will help you prepare, install, and launch the Opportunity Manager® app to your users in Salesforce.

Access Needed: SFDC System Administrator


Installation

We recommend installing and testing the OM app in your sandbox environment first, and then installing in production. Below are the installation steps, in the recommended order:

  1. Set Up App & License Keys

  2. Configure Page Layouts

  3. Set Up Value Card and MEDDPICC Qualifier

  4. Configure User Permissions

  5. Configure Alerts

  6. Customize the OM Dashboard

  7. Customize the OM Performance Dashboard

The Opportunity Manager® components and functionality available depends on the your company’s engagement with Force Management and license type (Command of the Message®, MEDDPICC, or Command of the Message + MEDDPICC (combo)).
