Configure Page Layouts

This section will walk you through the process of setting up the page layout for adding the Opportunity Manager components to the Opportunity object as well as our recommended setup for utilizing tabs to nest the components in their own section.

The Opportunity Manager app includes five Lightning components:

1. Opportunity Value Card (Command of the Message® methodology only)

2. MEDDPICC Qualifier (MEDDPICC methodology only)

3. Opportunity Manager Alerts

4. Guided Assessment Score

5. Engagement Document Links (Quick Links)

All components are intended for use on an Opportunity Lightning Page using a main region and one sidebar.

Add Lightning Components

Follow the video or text instructions below to add lightning components to the page layout.

1. From an Opportunity Record navigate to the gear icon and click Edit Page.

2. On the Components Menu, scroll to the bottom section labeled Custom.

3. Drag and drop the Force Management Opportunity Manager® app Lightning Components onto the page to create your desired setup.

4. Next, let’s add the following three (3) components to the new Opportunity Manager tab. Start by clicking on the tab itself, located on the main region of the Opportunity Record Page.
   

   

   
   

5. In this order, click and drag the following components from the Custom – Managed list of components on the left-hand side of the Opportunity Record Page:

   1. Opportunity Manager™ Alerts

   2. Opportunity Value Card

   3. MEDDPICC Qualifier

6. Next, we’ll add the Guided Assessments to the right-hand sidebar on the Opportunity Record page. Click and drag the following component from the Custom – Managed list of components and place them on the right-hand sidebar above the Related component:

   1. Guided Assessment Score

If you are implementing BOTH Command of the Message® and MEDDPICC, drag this component over twice. Then, click on the component to select the appropriate methodology you’d like this component to support.

7. Finally, we’ll add the final component to the Opportunity Record Page, the Engagement Document Links (Quick Links). Click and drag the Engagement Document Links component from the Custom – Managed list of components and place them on the right-hand sidebar directly below the Guided Assessment component(s).

Add Relationship Mapper to a Page Layout

Follow the steps below to add Opportunity Manager’s Relationship Mapper in a http://login.salesforce.com Lightning instance.

1. From the Opportunity Page, click the gear icon on the top right-hand side

2. Click Edit Object

3. Click Page Layouts

4. Select the name of the page layout reps will be using Opportunity Manager® on

5. Select Mobile and Lightening Actions from the left side of the table on top of the page

6. Select Open Relationship Mapper on the right side of the same table and drag/drop it under Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions, or wherever you’d like the button to appear

7. Click Save
