Opportunity Manager®: Knowledge & Support

Granting Purchased Licenses

Follow these steps immediately after client application install.

  1. Login to Force Management SFDC Production

  2. Click into the app launcher to open the "License Management App"

  3. Click into the "Licenses" tab

  4. Change the list view to "All"

  5. Click into the client's license

How do I know which license belongs to which client? If a license has not been updated after a client installed OM, the expiration date will say "does not expire" until a date has been set. The "License Seats" column will also say "1" until the licenses have been granted. You can also click into the license name and view the "Subscriber Org ID" to cross-reference against the account.

  1. Edit the "Account" field by searching for the client account from the list, and add the client OM contact within the "Contact" field. Click "Save"

  2. Click "Modify License" from the top right-hand side of the page (the button may be in a drop-down)

  3. Change the number of "Seats" according to the number of licenses purchased within the client's SOW

  4. Edit the expiration date according to the SOW by unchecking the "Does not expire" checkbox, clicking the date link, and typing/selecting the date

  5. Click "Save"

The license numbers and expiration will be automatically applied to the client org.
